Donald
W. Reynolds Department of Geriatrics
2000-2001 Research Grants
The research program of the Donald W. Reynolds Department
of Geriatrics has developed a number of research foci
concerned primarily with studying the causes of age-related
dependency (cognitive-loss or physical disabilities).
Research grants are categorized by the primary appointment
of the principal investigator. Core faculty have primary
appointments in the Reynolds Department of Geriatrics.
Affiliated faculty have primary appointments in other
departments (see below for breakdown) but either receive
financial support from the Department of Geriatrics
or collaborate with the Departments core faculty.
Core grants now incorporate only grants in which the
principal investigator is a core faculty member.
